2 types

There are two types of people: Those who admit to having played Super Mario and those who are liars. Think about it.

Emo

I'm sitting here listening to Sunny Day Real Estate, which is really almost pushing me to start my own band styled after the mid to late 90s emo. The only problem is that most of the people I know here aren't really into emo; most don't even know what it is. So how can you have an emo band when most of your friends who play instruments don't even know what emo is? I could clone myself, but that would cost too much and there are certain moral implications involved. Getting slightly off the subject, the thing that amazes me the most is that most people don't know what emo is, even though "emo" is such a cool word.

I Need Sleepy.

Nose is runny. Hard to study. Two tests tomorrow. Too bad they aren't video games. Too bad the chance of the Autumns coming to Lubbock is slim-to-none. But there is good. Jesus loves me. I'll have fun tomorrow. It'll be an okay time.

Duration: 2 minutes, 11 seconds

1) My telecaster is in the possession of my next-door neighbours.
2) The best chips? I would have to say Doritos.
3) You don't have to have big muscles to be a rocker. Rockers and artsy guys can get away without having big muscles. Furthermore, girls dig rockers simply because of their popularity and abilitly to lay down raucous tones.
4) Joshua the Thatcher has joined the blogger community. Check out his blog.
5) I think Imogen Heap has a very beautiful voice.
6) Sore throat coming on. Kill it! Swat it with Chloraseptic!
7) I'm in the Cru Bible Study at Wall/Gates.
8) Of the three game consoles out on the market, I prefer the gamecube. Reason: it's nintendo

A Coversation Between Friends

Forrest: Does your brain make sounds?
Josh: What kind of sounds?
Forrest: Well, does it growl when it gets hungry for knowledge? You know, that kind of stuff.
Josh: Nope
Forrest: Why is that?

Josh never did answer Forrest; it's quite sad really.

Alpha Bravo Foxtrot

When my brain thinks too hard and expoldes, it says, "Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezy-Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezy."*

*Forrey's brain has never really exploded before, but that's what it would be like.

Paul Banks

This week's featured rocker is Paul Banks, the lead singer and guitarist for Interpol.

Sundry Goods

I have a can of ovaltine that I've not used at all yet; I haven't even peeled the alluminum seal off the top yet. So you may be wondering why I haven't used it during the whole 2 and a half months I've been here. This is why: no milk combined with the lack of effort to get some. I've been contemplating whether or not I should sneak my can of ovaltine into the dining hall and just use some from there. This is probably what I'll do, and I'm confident that no person who works in the dining hall reads this blog. It's such a good scheme.

In The Nose A Mighty Wind Blows Out

So very dusty. I'm starting to sneeze more than I normally do. Pray for me. Pray that the lent and dust would be vaporized somehow.
