Something of Interest

If you go to my july 2005 archives, you'll notice that there is a post to a quiz I made a while back. I thought it would have gone defunct by now, but I guess it hasn't. The interesting thing is this: a fellow by the name of Taylor Tucker took my quiz probably not even a day ago and made a fifty. There are 2 things about this. 1) I don't even know Taylor that well and he got the highest grade on my quiz. 2) Is Taylor the kid I knew from Southern oaks youth group?
Taylor, if that's you, please let me know. I'm not mad that you took my quiz; I'm just curious how you found it and such. Also, kudos for beating the crap out of my "friends" in regards to my quiz.

Okay, the funniest thing I've seen at college so far.

I was on my way to a watch a violin recital when a truck full of beer-guzzling freshmen yelled at me meet, "Don't go to class; drink beer!" If you think about this a little, it's actually quite funny. It's almost as if they were saying, "Don't vote ____, vote ____." Hopefully, though, I'll see something more exciting. I expected to see freshmen doing stupid things when I came here, and they haven't been delivering. Sure, they do stupid stuff, but it's not anything that stands outside the paine of sex and alcohol. I truly am disappointed.

The post before this one is a testament to the fact that I can't figure out how to make a working link to the iTunes store.

1) I like the food at the Hulen/Clement dining hall sometimes. At other times, it's not so hot.
2) Week four of classes is coming up and with that comes the first tests. I'm looking forward to that. Bah!
3) Sigur Ros came out with their new album Takk... and I still haven't purchased it yet.

I love.

I'm sitting here at my desk reading my novel for history class. The window is slightly opened and there is a gentle combination of rain and breeze. It's very peaceful----tranquil, if you will. It's not dark outside, though.

Now the rain has stopped, but I can still hear the sound of cars in the background. It's still very peaceful.

You know what I'm fascinated with? It's the fact that I always find ants crawling in my keyboard. I even wonder if I would find an ant colony in my keyboard if I were to take it apart. I think the ants even sleep in my bed. Sometimes I'll find one or two creeping around on my bed. I'm not too worried, though; these ants are just the sugar kind, and if I really wanted to, I could eat them. Y'know, show them who's boss. For now, however, I just brush them off my desk, and if I can manage, pull them out of my keys with a piece of sturdy paper.
