Ever the turtle lover am I.

Today I was sitting in a chair in front of the living room tv with a dog on my lap when, all of the sudden, a soap came on. Unfortunately, I could not change the channel because the remote was on the couch and I could not reach it. This is just another example of the many times I wish I could use the force.

Today is July 13th, 2005. On this day I have realized how cool the frog is.

I really like Much Afraid; I don't really care what others think about it. Every single song on it is wonderful to my ears--some more than others, though. I'm particularly fond of "Frail," "Portrait of An Apology," "Weighed Down," and "Much Afraid," but all of the songs are good.

I've been reading the Proverbs lately. If I had to rate it based on a 5 star rating system, I would give it the full 5. Seeing that I am a Christian, this may seem a little biased, and perhaps it is. However, I find this book to be thought-provoking and beautifully written. Today I read two chapters straight, not only fascinated with the content of the book, but with its poetry also.

It's the fourth of july today. I hope I have a lot of fun today. I hope I get to drink some refreshing beverages. I hope it'll be a fun day.
